ABV Gallery - Man Of The Match Trophies

I was hired by ABV Gallery to work on a project with Heineken and D.C. United for the Man of the Match initiative. Along with a couple other local DC artists, I created 6 unique custom trophies for the most valuable player of each match. At the end of each D.C. United home game, the Heineken Man of the Match was presented with a custom trophy.

Bear Branch Tavern

I was hired by Bear Branch Tavern to create 3 paintings for their new restaurant in Vienna, Virginia. They wanted them to highlight several landmarks, past and present, of the Vienna area. Some of the current landmarks included were the original Library and Freeman house which were built in the late 1800s and are still in Vienna to this day. Some of the past landmarks include gas stations, general merchandise stores, fire station, rail road, logos and signage of older companies from the area and a map showcasing the Electric Railway and Steam Railroad tracks.

Davis Construction

I was commissioned to create 2 paintings celebrating the 25 year anniversary of the working relationship between Hickok Cole Architects and Davis Construction. The pieces focused on several of the projects they worked on together, including the actual buildings and machinery used. It also included press clippings, company logos and graphic concepts/text based on the longstanding relationship. The client wanted the color palette clean with black white and grays and leaving the only other colors to be the blue of Davis Construction’s logo and the red of Hickok Cole’s logo. The paintings were then presented as gifts to the Hickok Cole owners.
